    Requirements for Abstract

    Those wishing to present a contribution(s) should submit an Abstract(s) electronically to »RREPS-23» and »Meghri-23» Organizing Committee before July 15, 2023.

    Guidelines: one page Latex 2e or Microsoft Word, Times New Roman 14 pt., the title centered at the top of the page (bold type), one empty line, authors’ names (centered), affiliation and complete address (centered), one empty line, text of abstract. The name of the person presenting the contribution should be underlined and supplied by e-mail address (in footnote). Margins of 2.5 cm should be applied. Tables and black and white figures or drawings are possible, if unavoidable. Final version in the Book of Abstracts will be reduced to A5 format. The Programme Committee will decide about the acceptance of contributions by August 1, 2023. The authors will be informed about acceptance (oral or poster) of their contributions after August 1, 2023. The information concerning a poster format will be available on the symposium website.

    Requirements for JINST

    Dear Participants of RREPS-23 & Meghri-23 Symposium,

    The proceedings for  “The XIV International Symposium on Radiation from Relativistic Electrons in Periodic Structures merged with the VIII International Conference on Electron, Positron, Neutron and X-ray Scattering under External Influences” held on 18-22 September, 2023 will be published in the Proceedings Section of JINST, Journal of Instrumentation.

    Manuscripts should be preferably prepared in LaTeX in one of the following ways:

    Kindly notice that the number of pages should not exceed 8 pages for contributed/invited talks and 6 pages for poster presentations.

    When writing your contribution, in addition to the scientific quality and relevance of the subject matter,  it is advisable also to check the quality of formatting, language and style (i.e.  incoherent use of unit of measure; different conventions used in the same paper such as abbreviations \3 s”, \3 sec”, \3 seconds” and position: \3C”, \3 C”; poorly organized tables; etc.)

    When your contribution is ready for submission, please follow the instructions below:

    1.     Connect to JINST and register or login (if needed);

    2.     in the “Submit” section of the page select the link “submit a proceedings contribution”.

    3.     select the RREPS-23 & Meghri-23 conference from the list (see attached screenshot 2);

    4.     follow the step-by-step procedure for submission, referring to the instructions available on the “For Authors” help page.
